The Utah trip

While in Provo for Melissa's graduation we were able to spend time with many family members. Jon, Becca and James flew in from Missouri. We were able to meet Matt's friend, Emily, she was the facilitator for his Mexico trip and Pat's girlfriend, Katie. We also spent time with Melissa's sister's family, Julie, Chris, Nathaniel, Bradley, Lindsey and baby Joseph.

Here is a brief outline of our activities: (pictures will be coming in a future post)

Wednesday - Fred, Dan, Becca, James, and I arrive in Utah. Later, dinner with Katie and dessert with Emily.

Thursday - Graduation and move Pat out of his apartment

Friday - Convocation, finish cleaning Pat's apartment (he wouldn't let me help so I just sat and watched!), pick up Jon at the airport that night.

Saturday - a session at the temple - work completed for 7 family members thanks to my husband and his diligence at family history work. Also out to a big celebration dinner in honor of Melissa's graduation success!

Sunday - to church for baby Joseph Adam Hardy Black's blessing - Fred, Jon, Matt and Pat were all able to stand in the circle for the blessing. What a wonderful experience it is to be able to participate in extended family activities. Thank you Chris and Julie for giving us the opportunity! To the airport with Jon, then drop off Becca and James with her Aunt Debbie and return to Provo for dinner.

Monday - 4:00 AM, leave for airport for trip home - 5:30 PM arrive back home in Sutton!
