I like the picture that these words bring to mind.
O Little town of Bethlehem #208
1. O little town of Bethlehem,
How still we see thee lie.
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by;
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light.
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight.
2. For Christ is born of Mary,
And, gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wond’ring love.
O morning stars, together
Proclaim the holy birth,
And praises sing to God the King,
And peace to men on earth.
3. How silently, how silently
The wondrous gift is giv’n!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of his heav’n.
No ear may hear his coming;
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him, still
The dear Christ enters in.

My favorite is "Angels We have Heard On High" and "Joy to the World"...okay, seriously, I just love them all. Good, good stuff. A month isn't long enough to enjoy these songs.
I too love them all...even the primary songs. IF I had to pick a favorite, i'd have to say I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day!
Love you song posts, they always make me think about that song. It's great to read the words...
Got your message a few minutes ago--our phone is still out, but I've been trying to check messages on my cell. We're fine, and I can't think of anything at the moment for the Stake RS to do... I'll get back to you. LOVE having Christmas songs to calm me this week! So grounding and peaceful. I love them ALL.
